Dani Crompton Designs makes unique one of a kind organic jewellery, inspired by the colours, textures and details of nature. Individual designs can trigger memories – the crashing of the waves at your favourite beach, the sound of kicking autumn leaves or the smell of damp woodlands. My jewellery enables people to keep a piece of the outdoors with them wherever they go.

Every piece is handmade in my home studio and the design process is as organic as the inspiration and final creation. I have developed a technique of sewing small glass seed beads into forged and textured silver which makes my jewellery very unique. While my main materials are silver and glass beads, I also introduce paper, textiles, wood, resin and copper sometimes, allowing the materials to dictate the journey and final destination.

As well as my collection of ‘Nature’s Way’ jewellery I offer a bespoke jewellery service where the customer can be involved in the designing of their ideal piece. Creating something truly special for themselves or a loved one that can be cherished for years to come.

I believe in self-expression and the role original handmade jewellery has in allowing people to show their true self. I design for women who want to make a statement, stand out from the crowd and own original pieces that no one else can ever have – Happiness is Handmade.

Having got a BA(hons) in Jewellery and Silversmithing at Sir John Cass, London Guildhall University in 1999.
