Surrey Guild of Craftsmen Gallery

Surrey Guild Craft Gallery in Milford, Surrey is the permanent home of the Surrey Guild of Craftsmen.

The Gallery is run on a co-operative basis and has a permanent and constantly changing exhibition of members’ work for sale. You can browse and buy a wide variety of textiles, glass, ceramics, jewellery, wood and much more. The Gallery is also an exhibition venue, a place where makers and their customers can meet to discuss commissions.

Post-pandemic Gallery opening hours are Tuesday-Sunday inclusive 11am-4pm. If you are visiting the Gallery to see the work of a specific member it’s best to telephone first to make sure their work is currently on show.

Members also run periodic Surrey Guild of Craftsmen events and in 2021 will be showcasing their work at Riverside Barns (Walton-on-Thames), New Ashgate Gallery (Farnham), Guildford House (Guildford) and Haslemere Museum. The first of these – at Riverside Barns – will be in April. Dates and times for all the events will be found on the website and Facebook page when lockdown is eased on April 12th.

In 2022 an event is planned for Denbies Wine Estate near Dorking.

New members are always welcome, and application procedures can be found by visiting the website. Membership of the Guild offers opportunities for members to exchange ideas, partner each other in independent exhibitions and open studios, and offer feedback, encouragement and critical appraisal.
